On October 10, the Democratic candidates for the 2020 presidential election will appear at town halls across the U.S. on “LGBTQ” issues. This will be aired on CNN and hosted by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which recently announced a massive expansion of its advocacy on behalf of the trans agenda. An HRC Foundation spokesperson has stated that the audience will be comprised of “invited guests, LGBTQ stakeholders and members of civic organizations. No public tickets will be available.” This is appallingly un-democratic, and it should surprise no one when the candidates fall over each other in their knee-jerk support of erasure of women and the transing of children. But you can help fight back.
Democrats are leaving the party in droves. When will the candidates listen?

What You Can Do:
Demand that the interviewers ask challenging questions of the candidates. Make the candidates clarify their stances on whether children should be sterilized, and on whether men should be permitted to self-identify as women and thus be given carte blanche entrance into women’s sex-segregated spaces. Let the candidates know that ordinary Americans, including those who support gay rights, are not going along with the trans agenda.
Tweet the scripts below to each of the interviewers, and to other media outlets. (addresses below)
Ordinary Americans, including those who support gay rights, are not going along with the trans agenda, the erasure of women and girls, or the sterilization of children. On 10/10, challenge the candidates. Ask challenging questions.
Sexual orientation is not the same thing as “gender identity.” Don’t let the candidates get away with ignoring the important differences. “Gender identity” ideology is homophobic and misogynistic. Ask the candidates what they think about this statement.
“Gender identity” ideology reinforces the notion that human beings have certain innate traits or characteristics based on sex. This view is profoundly anti-science, sexist, and politically regressive. Ask the candidates to respond.
It is not possible for a human being to change, or “identify out of,” his or her sex. A male person cannot become female. Male people who wish to enter intimate spaces that are reserved for female people are invading women’s spaces, which is sexist. What do the candidates think about this?
